About
Pieces is a real story about an eleven-year-old boy with mild autism. He is surrounded by his loving father and two brothers. And together they will all learn valuable lessons that bring them closer together to help them understand what makes them unique. He visits his father on weekends and in that short amount of time they discover a lot about themselves and how the world works.
My goal for pieces is to tell a story that is emotional and insightful regarding the subject of autism and family dynamic. Through my own personal experiences Pieces uses anthologies that peek into the lives of my youngest brother and his surrounding family, I hope to create a story that effects the viewer by opening them up to a way of thinking about disability, imagination, and family.
